Senior Software Developer

Location – Romford, RM3 8YT (Hybrid Work Allowed)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and application development, with proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

•   Design and develop robust software applications using Java, Python and other relevant technologies.

•   Good experience of frontend frameworks – React, NodeJS and likewise.

•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

•   Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.

•   Integrate APIs and third-party services into existing systems.

•   Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with team members.

•   Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.

•   Maintain documentation for software designs, processes, and procedures.

•   Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Skill Requirements:

•   Proven experience in software development, with a focus on application development.

•   Strong knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies.

•   Proficiency in database management and data manipulation.

•   Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub for collaborative coding efforts.

•   Experience of leading a team of developers will be an advantage.
